SpaceXAI Releases Grok 4.7 for Longer-Running Agentic Work

Grok 4.7 uses a larger base model and a longer reinforcement-learning run weighted toward tasks that take hours to complete.
SpaceXAI, represented in SIRDA's Ecosystem as xAI, released Grok 4.7 on September 21 as a frontier model for coding, agentic tasks, and knowledge work. The company says it uses a larger base model than Grok 4.6, was trained on a harder task mix weighted toward problems that take many hours, and is better at verifying its own work and managing long context. It was trained to work natively with Grok Bot, the company's harness for always-on agents. SpaceXAI also gave select cybersecurity partners invite-only access to the model's red-team capabilities.
For SIRDA, the development is the continuing shift from single-turn capability toward systems that sustain work over long horizons. Permissions, persistence, tool access, monitoring, and interruption become central to the safety case.
Benchmark figures are company-reported.
